  3. Sabeel Theology Centre Jerusalem Sabeel is an ecumenical grassroots liberation theology movement among Palestinian Christians. Inspired by the life and teaching of Jesus Christ, this liberation theology seeks to deepen the faith of Palestinian Christians, to promote unity among them and lead them to act for justice and peace.* * Sabeel website

  4. Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Centre Jerusalem Liberation Theology, calls attention to the heart of the Biblical message. It emphasis and helps us to focus on the liberating aspect of the word of God that has been in the Bible all along, but unfortunately ,has been neglected. It brings the word of God to us in our daily lives , attuning our ears to what God is saying to us today and what God wants us to do through us in this world that God loves and to which God has sent Jesus Christ.

A former canon of St. George’s Cathedral in Jerusalem, he was the first to articulate a Palestinian theology of liberation in his book, ‘Justice, and Only Justice: A Palestinian Theology of Liberation’

  16. Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Centre Jerusalem Area 2 The Christian-Muslim interfaith focuses cooperation with the Al-Liqa Centre in Bethlehem and work towards interfaith dialogue and understanding, in addition to a faith-based ideology and practice of non-violence.

  20. Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Centre Jerusalem Area3 The third area focuses on issues that Palestinians, both Christian and Muslim, face as citizens of Israel and will seek to work with Israeli Jews in challenging policies that undermine equality and human rights.

  21. Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Centre Jerusalem Sabeel organises Bible study groups to study Jesus’ message in the parables. This will be a 5 year project and will include local Christian communities in both Israel and Palestine. The purpose of these studies is 4-fold
