Referral guide • Name of the provider or agency • Range of services provided • Target population • Contact details -Directions, transportation information, and accessibility to public transportation • Competence in providing services • Eligibility, admission policies and procedures • Papers the client needs to carry • Client satisfaction

  8. Summary • Clients will experience crisis and problems at different stages of interaction. • Nature and severity depends on a number of factors like individual ability to cope, support available, nature of crisis etc. • As a counsellor it is important to remain calm and assist the client to develop and implement solutions to the problems the encounter.
