  2. What is IELTS IELTS is a standardized test used to measure whether the students applying abroad have an acceptable level of English or not. IELTS assess the level of the students on the basis of four language skills, necessary for communication. In IELTS there are four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Reading module contains 40 questions. Here, we talk about IELTS Reading Module. The time for this module is one hour. There is no extra time provided to the students to transfer the answers.

  3. Reading Module Reading module contains three passages of 2500- 3000 words long. The passages are of scholastic nature and often taken from magazines, newspapers, articles and books etc. The passages are of general nature and even a non-specialist who has knowledge of English able to understand the content. The topics are varied in nature for example there may be passages about tourism, education, science or any particular civilization etc.
