  3. In general, you need to recognize which characters belong in each story. • I will give you a portion of the text, and you will have to say who said the quote.

  4. Know the answers to the following questions: • A Rose for Emily 1-11 on page 655 • Night 1-11 on page 827 • Handsomest Drowned man 1-7, 9 on page 917 • Walter Mitty1-7 on page 713

  5. Be able to read a portion of the text and tell me what is happening in that portion.
