ENERTECH REMODECE Software Tool: Home Energy Consumption Calculation

ENERTECH REMODECE is a software tool developed to calculate home energy consumption. The tool allows users to input specific information about their appliances and habits, and generates a report table with energy consumption estimates. The interface is currently in English but can be translated for each country.

Current status • Main inputs per type of appliance have been defined • Interface was developped to test and validate the different options (in English for dev purpose but has to be translate for each country) • Calulation script was coded to generate a simple report table (using French average consumptions) • Files went on-line to test the compatibility with the Internet server Test URL http://www.isr.uc.pt/~remodece/softwaretool/softwaret.php ENERTECH REMODECE

What’s next ? • Add more visual results (graphs...) and give more explanation and hints in the result window • Translate the pages for each country • Need to adapt the parameters for each country Average consumptions by appliances, stand-by coefficients, number of lighting hours… ENERTECH REMODECE
