  • polynomial in ln(E) + polynomial in cos(theta) + ln(E)cos(theta) term

    • Enrico has 4 lnE coefficients, 2 cos(theta), 0 ln*cos

      • factorizable -> can extract theta terms for EmcCalPi0

    • EmcCalPi0 has 3 lnE coeffs, 0 cos, 0 ln*cos

  • EmcCalPi0 is a rolling calibration - updates after 50k if change needed

    • change 0th order term, then 1st , then 2nd

    • starts from 0,0,0 so correction needs settling time

Conclusions
Conclusions

  • A working rolling calibration would improve resolution

  • can't use EmcCalPi0 blindly (v. runs 13k-14k)

    • needs to settle faster in future - start from E.M. correction? or E.M. based on EmcCalPi0 results?

    • maybe can tack on theta dependence from E.M.

  • Can get non-crazy results using available constants in reasonable regions

  • More investigation to follow...
