  3. Part position • Supinate hand • Adjust humerus with epicondyle Parallel to Cassette • Center humerus to the cassette • Central Ray • Perpendicular • Center Point • Mid point of humerus • Structures shown • AP projection of the entire humerus including the shoulder and elbow join

  4. Patient position Erect or Supine Part position Slightly abduct the arm Center arm to cassette Rotate forearm medially until epicondyles perpendicular to cassette Central Ray Perpendicular Center Point Mid point of humerus • Lateral Humerus

  5. Structures shown • Lateral projection of the entire humerus including the shoulder and elbow joint lateral humerus
