  2. What did I learn this year??? Bill of Rights • The first amendment greatly affects my daily life. • See more later Supreme Court Cases • Bethel School District #43 v. Fraser • Cannot make obscene speeches

  3. Vote! • Am I registered? • Nope! Is it important? • Yup! • Voting = having a say in the government • = making a difference= changing the nation the way you want it to change

  4. Bill of Rights • 1st • At the moment the first amendment is the only part of the first ten amendments that really impact my life • Freedom of speech = I don’t have to guard what I say/print/write..etc. as much as I might have to • Freedom of Religion = I don’t have to worship something I don’t want to

  5. What can I do? • Become educated! • Learning will bring me closer to my goal of getting a job • Getting a job in either Ecology or as a Vet will hopefully help society by improving the environment or some animal’s life • Paying taxes will help fund important things such as roads, environmental Protection programs, social security, etc.

  6. “Hollowing out the Middle” • Achiever, unless jobs open up around Bradford
