  1. Inserting a Component • Inserting one 3” Long Pipe Component before another Piping Component (Flg pair) • Using the Bottom Bar or the Dialog Bar of TRIFLEX: • Insert Ahead Arrow. • Light Green Arrow Facing down on dialog bar. • Insert component ahead of current component.

  2. Existing Pipe Components Objective is to insert a 3” segment of pipe prior to the flange pair after data point 10 and before data point 15. The new component is to be labeled 12. Pipe Flange Pair Anchor

  3. Existing Pipe Components Click on the Component immediately following the location at which you wish to insert the 3” segment of Pipe. This will make the Flange Pair the Current Component.

  4. Using Insert Ahead Click on the “Insert Ahead” of mode of input found in the lower left corner of the dialog. Insert Ahead

  5. Using Insert Ahead Click on the Pipe Icon and this dialog will appear. Change the To Node to 12. Enter the desired Delta Dimensions. Dimensions in this case we entered 3” along the X axis.

  6. Editing Pipe Components When OK is clicked, the 3” section of Pipe is inserted in the model prior to the flange pair. The new component is numbered from 10 to 12 and TRIFLEX automatically renumbers the starting number of the Flange Component to 12. New Component
