MAP • 39 HCPSS Schools (Grades 1-8 only) • Algebra or above students no longer have to take math MAP • All students take reading • Possible additional computers coming to building to use during testing
MAP Testing Windows • Fall: Sept 30 – Oct. 23 • Winter: Dec. 16 – Jan. 31 (Required for all students receiving interventions and seminars. Optional for all other students) • Spring: April 28 – May 30 • LEMS testing dates still TDB
MAP • Passwords and login – • Email from NWEA will be coming with logins and passwords (might look like spam – do not delete) • Last year’s teachers can go to the NWEA site and use last year’s login and password • New passwords can be sent by logging on to site and clicking “forgot user name/password” • https://hcpss-admin.mapnwea.org

Daily Lesson Plan Components Daily Objectives: What specific curricular concept will the students learn during the week. Warm-Up: Exactly how will I spend the first five minutes preparing students for the instructional activity? Instructional Activity: What specific activities, investigations, problems, questions or tasks will students be working on during the lesson? Formative Assessment: How will I measure student mastery of the objective set forth? Homework(If necessary)
