  • Upgrading PS from 8.3 to 9.0
  • From stand-alone into combined database with Student Administration
  • Upgrade presentation at Annual PeopleSoft Higher Education Users Group forum
  • Patches & Fixes
  • Continue to work w/ SA as modules are implemented
why upgrade
Why upgrade?
  • Keep vendor support current with PS
  • Combine HR and SA in one database
  • Utilize a common development tool set for OIT to better support all PS applications
  • Improved security features
  • Cohesive look among all PS applications (Finance and Human Resources)

    • Exception – Personal Data
  • Corrected current production issues (Change PAR, Reports, COLA/Merit, Leave)
  • HR keeps all existing functionality
