3. Annual Dues Membership is categorized by the role your company plays in the automatic identification and data capture technology industry. Regular Member: A company (or named division of a company) whose primary business is selling automatic identification and data capture technology including consultant, independent software vendor, manufacturer, OEM, reseller, and system integrator Distributor Member: A company (or named division of a company) whose primary business is distributing automatic identification and data capture technology and providing fulfillment, marketing services, and managed services to resellers on behalf of the manufacturer. Non-AIDC: Member company (or named division of a company) whose primary business is selling products or services that are not automatic identification and data capture technology Academic Member: An academic institution Government Member: Government entity Nonprofit Member: A registered nonprofit organization Introductory Member: A company whose yearly revenue is or is anticipated to be less than $3M/year. Membership at the Introductory Member level is limited to one year. User Member: A company (or named division of a company) that does not sell but rather uses automatic identification and data capture technology in the course of its business Annual dues are based on your membership category. • Regular member dues are based on the company's gross annual sales associated with the automatic identification and data capture market. • Non-AIDC member dues are based on the company's gross annual sales • Academic, Distribution, Government, Non-Profit, Introductory, and User member dues are a flat rate.
