  1. Program Summary Candidate Criteria Three-year program with computer science and medical informatics training. Participants have 3-6 rotations within GE Healthcare developing software solutions for healthcare providers. Participants receive a broad education by working towards an MS in computer science from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (online), taking Medical Informatics courses at Northwestern University and internal training courses. GE pays for the tuition and other educational expenses for the degree, provided good standing is maintained. • Unrestricted workauthorization in the U.S. • 4 year bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering • Minimum GPA of 3.0, desired 3.5 • Passion for software engineering and healthcare technology • Strong commitment to graduate education and a career in GE Healthcare The Software Technology Program (STP) offers three-year full time positions committed to the development of people with a passion for software in healthcare. It develops technical excellence through intense technical training and executing a variety of business-critical assignments. STP graduates have the technical foundation to take on the tough challenges facing GE Healthcare IT.

Are well defined and contained Develop specific software engineering and business skills Work with established and emerging technologies Are aligned with the STP engineer’s development plan Provide mentorship from an experienced Assignment Leader • 6 or 12 months long • Unique set of responsibilities, tasks, work goals, and developmental goals for the STP engineer • Exposure to various aspects of the business, products, processes, customers, and product cycle milestones • Goals are frequently reviewed during the rotation • Unique product segment or functional group for each rotation • Initial rotation at GE Healthcare IT headquarters in Barrington, IL
