Ensure successful grant submissions by selecting the appropriate lead institution based on salary rates and indirect costs. The lead partner should be where the project is primarily based. Follow the grant submission priorities provided by the funder.
E N D
Submitting Priorities • It is important that the right institution is used as lead since staff salary rates and indirect cost charges will be different in the two institutions • Grants should be submitted through one lead partner depending on • where the work will be primarily based • the funder
Submitting Priorities • E.g. if the work is based in LSTM and the only substantive Warwick input is the PI staff time share then the bid will be submitted by LSTM • E.g. if the work is primarily based at UoW then UoW will lead • E.g. if the work is equally split between LSTM and UoW then other criteria may be used to determine the lead – e.g. the funder
Submitting Priorities • Submit through the lead and notify the secondary using the Notification of Intent: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/med/staffintranet/dopss/rss/how_to_submit/
