MARKET DEMAND • Perception that threats of crime, riots and terrorism have risen in the last 30 Years • Law Enforcement, Armed Forces, NGOs and UN Agencies are a large part of the clientele as well as VIP‘s and politicians • The biggest demand for armored vehicles, today, is in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. • The demand in Columbia and Venezuela for example is approximately 6000 vehicles per year • Europe - anti-riot and anti-kidnapping solutions • Africa - ballistic protection • Middle East - protection against blast and IED‘s

HISTORY OF ARMORED VEHICLES • Rolls-Royce came out with the Rolls-Royce Ghost in August 1914, the first time an armored vehicle was introduced to the British military. • In 1930 Mercedes Benz introduced the Nurburg 460, an armored car used to protect Pope Pius XI. • The demand for armored vehicles increased toward the end of the ‘60s in Europe when the ETA in Spain and the RAF terrorists in Germany assaulted politicians.
