  1. SEMINAR « Inclusive Employment » Vientiane, 7 – 11 October 2013 • Who I am ? Brief presentation. Project officer for the ALAC region. Working in HI since 2008. I led the exploratory mission in the Andean region (Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia) for the development of a livelihood project (to be started in 2014, depending upon funding obtained), with the support of the region program directors and a consultant. • I am an expert / specialist in ….. UE donors Methodological tools for project identification/follow up Project formulation Workshops/trainings animation

How to ensure livelihood activities included in larger projects (such as victim assistance) provide quality support and sustainable services to beneficiaries (wich framework, what minimum resources/activities)? How to make sure Income generating activities (micro-entreprises) are sustainable (what timing, what resources are necessary) How to facilitate the approach towards potential inclusive firms? How to ensure special attention is brought to most vulnerable groups (such as women)? What specific actions?

  3. SEMINAR « Inclusive Employment » Vientiane, 7 – 11 October 2013 • What are the main challenges / stakes for the future in inclusive employment project ? In the ALAC region: development of 4 new project on this thematic Challenges identified (depending on the context): • Change of attitudes and practices of populations & actors (persons with disabilities themselves, their families, clients, firms) • Ensure OPCD have a role to play on this thematic (ensure enough capacity building within the projects) • Coordination/concertation of actors where initiatives already exist (ex: Andean region incl. Colombia), with clear respective roles and responsibilities • Sustainability of integration in firms (ensure ownership of the project by the firm and colleagues) • Sustainability of income generating activities
