  1. Which One Is Better-Granite or Quartz Countertops Kitchen countertop is more than a utility. It is the style statement for the homemakers. But which material to choose, granite or quartz, is something we need to think about.

  2. Quartz Countertops Quartz is durable then the granite. In the kitchen the countertop has to face many challenges and its durability will help it to last for long. If the countertop is unable to bear negative factors then it is not meant for your kitchen. Quartz is higher on the strength scale which makes quartz countertops stronger than any of the kitchen counter material.

  3. Marble Floors Generally it is not prescribed to use kitchen counter tops as chopping board as from regular exposure of the knife, counter top surface may develop scratches. Granite and marble floors or kitchen countertops is prone to scratches hence you cannot use it as chopping board. But quartz is tougher then granite and can be used as the chopping board. It will not develop any scratches. Quartz is stain free: the kitchen counter top should be stain free. If you are using it as chopping board then it may absorb the juices of the vegetables and fruits or the tough stains from the burnt food. Granite can over a period of time develop stains and become dull. But quartz is stain free. Not in real sense but in maintenance. You can easily wipe off any stain from its surface without leaving any6 mark or stain patch on its surface.
