  4. AREAS OF CORRUPTION • Contracts -insufficient framework • Government benefits -subsidised minds • Licensing -lack of rules • Regulatory measures -inappropriate /inadequate rules

  5. CATEGORIES OF CORRUPTION • Institutional corruption -national level • Personal corruption -individuals • Organised corruption -informal, but stable system • Unorganised corruption -whims are the orders

  6. CAUSES • Weak governments -no LSGs • Outdated administration -red tapism • Undue ambitions -desires • Neo culture -pseudo image
