  5. I. CONTEXT • We are compelled to train young low skilled candidates • We need to attract women in the driving staff • The driving career has to become more attractive

  6. II.Training : The STIB OPTION • 1. SCOPE : inclusion of mechanics • 2. In-House training : ...in -house context • 3. Teaching methods: learning by questions & immediate • comments when the answer is wrong • 4. Contents of examination: gap between legal provisions & • reality re constraints of organisation

  7. III . Apprenticeship • Integration by peers • Supervising by first line managers • periodic training • re-education training
