  3. History • 31 August 1885: prinsjesdag (princessday). • 1890: After King Willem’s deat princessday became Queensday. • 31 august 1898: When Wilhelmina reached the age of 18, she became queen.

  4. More history… The next queen, Queen Juliana celebrated her birthday on 30th of April. And the queen after Juliana was Queen Beatrix. She was born on Januairy 31, but celebrated her birthday on April 30. Just like the last queen.
