  2. How long is it from now? • It takes: • 2 years in Middle School • 4 years in High School • 4 years in College • 4 years in Dental School • You have to do a Written Exam and PracticalExam

  3. What is a dentist? • Dentists diagnose and treat problems with their patients’ teeth and mouth tissue

  4. Place of Employment • They work in offices only if they own one • They work with other dentist in the same offices

  5. Dress code • A lab coat • some dress shoes • Loafers • wear dress pants and dress shirts or blouses

  6. How much do dentist get paid? • A dentist average is about 130,000 or even more • It will depend in what dentistry you are involved in • They get paid $66.17 an hour

  7. What training/certificate/degree would you need to get this job? • It takes 6 years to become a dentist • You need 2-4 years of college • You need to get good grades and they also look for good character for you could get into dental school

  8. How would you pay for it? • I would go and look for a job and save up my money • I can get a scholarship or a loan

  9. Why did I choose this career? • I chose this career because in the future I want people to have healthy teeth.
