Environment in Ostrava Ostrava is alarge industrial town with many factories, coal mines and dense traffic. These factors damage environment in the town and it’s surrounding. The main problem is a dust in the air and a smog. Another problem is a contaminated land.
But there is a lot of green vegetation in the town, in the surrounding are forests, fields and rivers. There is also conservation area Poodří.
