  4. Recommended Sequence of Study for Native Speakers of Spanish • Native/heritage speakers should not be placed in a standard level I course of their heritage language unless they have been assessed by the teacher and it is determined that they need that introductory level.

  5. Recommended Sequence of Study for Native Speakers of Spanish Scheduling for Success: • Combination of Level I or Level II World Language courses should be avoided. • Students enrolled in non-honors level World Language courses should not be scheduled in combination classes that receive honors (level III+) or AP credit.
