  1. `The Bobcat` • Bobcats live in the mountains and deserts of Utah. • They eat birds, mice, rabbits and even deer. • Nothing much eats them. They are ferocious!

  2. Interesting Facts about Bobcats • Bobcats are about half the size of a mountain lion. • They can growl as loud as a cougar. • They like to live in caves in the rocks.

  3. Going Wild with Amphibians • This is a picture of Leopard Frogs. • They live near ponds and streams. • They eat mostly insects. • They are eaten by birds, raccoons, and rodents.

  4. Leopard Frog Facts • Leopard Frogs are a medium sized frog reaching 3 1/2 inches in length. • It gets its name from the dark spots. They are usually in circle shapes and scattered over the body .

  5. The Road Runner • Road Runners live in grasslands, brushy areas, deserts, and open woodlands. • Roadrunners eat lizards, rattlesnakes, scorpions, grasshoppers, crickets, mice, and tarantulas. They also eat fruit and seeds. • They are very fast and aren’t often caught .

It can fly but prefers to run. • The roadrunner is not a quiet bird. It crows and chuckles and produces a clacking sound. It also coos like a dove.
