  1. Four Types of Clothing Every Baby Girl Needs in Her Wardrobe Congratulations, it’s a girl! Now, here comes the fun part — dressing her! They claim that finding clothes for baby girls is far easier than finding clothes for baby boys, which you’ll find is both a blessing (so many choices) and a curse (too many choices). Overwhelmed by the endless adorable options out there, both online and in stores? Here are four baby girl wardrobe must-haves to help you narrow down your shopping list. #1 - One-Pieces: Snap-crotch bodysuits (also called onesies) are considered a baby clothing essential for a reason — they make dressing your little one a snap! Not only are they perfectly adorable on their own, but they’re also great for layering too, adding another level of protection to your baby’s delicate skin. And, because the snaps hold them snugly in place, they won’t ride up on your baby’s belly and expose it to the cold, as T-shirts or undershirts might. Rompers, which are bodysuits with legs, are another type of one-piece that many parents adore for their ease in creating an entire outfit in one go. Onesies and rompers should form the backbone of your baby girl’s wardrobe, and you should invest in at least seven to 14 of them. (Thankfully, they’re inexpensive and are often sold in multipacks!) #2 - Stretchy Pants: Paired with a onesie, a pair of stretch pants will pull together an instant outfit for your little one. Baby girl pants often feature darling details, like ruffle bottoms, bows, or floral, stripe and polka dot patterns in every imaginable color, allowing endless opportunities to mix and match. How many pairs do you need for your baby girl? At least four. #3 - Outerwear: No matter what season it is, it’s important to have several top layers at hand to ensure your baby girl is always comfortable. Even during the height of summer, air conditioning can make houses and public places chilly. Thankfully you’ll find there is no shortage of sweet sweaters, sweatshirts, coats, jackets, and hoodies for your little one. Details like teddy bear ears on the hood will add an irresistible touch to any outfit. #4 – Sleepwear:

  2. Warm, soft, and cute to boot, footie pajamas that have a front zip are perfect for both cozying up in the crib at night and lounging in the living room during the day. The zipper that runs down the front and along one leg makes dressing, undressing, and changing diapers easy. (Snaps are okay too, but zippers are quicker!) When you buy footed baby pajamas, there is no need for socks, which frequently fall off babies’ wiggly feet and get lost. Some parents prefer sleep gowns that are open at the bottom, allowing for effortless diaper changes in the middle of the night. You should have at least five sleepwear sets of either type, or both. Have these four basic wardrobe necessities ready for your baby girl’s arrival to keep her comfy and cozy (and looking cute as a button) in her first few months.
