Unit 7 Vocabulary Contract - Agreement that is legally effective and enforceable in court Unilateral Contract - Binding agreement created by an offer that is accepted by a promise of performance Bilateral Contract -- Binding agreement created by an offer that is accepted by communicating the requested promise to the offeror.
