And… • Career resources • Vacancies including Unijob application • Work shadowing opportunities • Career guidance software • Careers events : Development Weeks Subject specificconferences Campus visits by employers • Information about the first destination of previous graduates • Help with managing social networking

  5. Students encouraged to gain employability skills through: • WBL • On line vacancies / UniJob • Work shadowing • ‘Enhance Your Employability’ workshops • Volunteering and mentoring • Effective use of vacations

  6. Links with departments: • Career Link Tutors • Partnership Agreements • Subject specific group sessions • Case studies • Faculty Employability Reports • Subject related case studies • Careers resources including subject website lists

How can you help? • Work with Career Link Tutor / Programme Leader to plan package of support • Promote careers events and vacancies • Make use of UniJob to recruit staff • Provide update on course changes/devts • Provide case studies • Refer students • Encourage students to use the service as early as possible
