  2. Selection Policy • Written in outline form • Written for whole district, not for each building and the grade levels the building serves • Contains philosophy and Library Bill of Rights

  3. Selection Policy • Contains responsibility statement • Contains gift statement • Contains partial list of review guides • Weeding criteria included

  4. Reconsideration Policy • Contains step by step instructions for challenging a book • Has a timeline in which certain stages of the process occur • Has a statement on what to do with the book during reconsideration process • A form is contained for the challenger to fill out

  5. Outstanding Issues • No technology specific selection policy

  6. Changes • Add selection policy section specifically for technology (programs, e-readers, monitors, etc…) • Write in outline form so it is consistent with the rest of the policy
