You will glide through the winding mangrove creeks and paddle through inches of water, where you can easily view and learn about the geological structure of the Keys along with its inhabitants, all from the comfort of your kayak. Your adventure will give you a chance to view the mangrove environment up close, along with its marine life including tropical fish, crabs, sea stars, jellyfish, sea cucumbers, sponges and various aquatic birds. Every trip leads us on a different adventure! This often asked question is best answered by explaining that the wind, tides, and seasons are always changing. Thus the animals change and our boating conditions change. The back country of the lower Keys encompasses hundreds of square miles.

  3. NATURAL HISTORY ARE WELCOME Sea Kayaking is a mild physical exercise that is not age restrictive. Normal health is sufficient and many persons with physical handicaps have enjoyed our trips. It is not necessary to be able to swim as life vests are supplied to everyone regardless of ability. The water we travel is for the most part quite shallow. Children, 9 years or older, who are accompanied by a parent or guardian, and who are interested in natural history are welcome. Dogs welcome on any kayak or paddleboard rental or tour EXCEPT the 4 hour tour.
