Avas Leben scheint nach außen hin perfekt zu sein: steile Karriere, Teil eines Power Couples und ein schickes Outfit für jede Situation. Nein danke! Zu allem Übel lässt sie der Highlander Colin, mit dem sie zusammenarbeiten soll, deutlich spüren, dass er weder von ihr noch von ihrem Modebewusstsein sonderlich beeindruckt ist. Leider ist er aber teuflisch attraktiv, und dass ihre Hormone unter dem Mistelzweig verrücktspielen, kann sie gar nicht gebrauchen! Und doch scheint Colin für Ava das einzige Gegenmittel zu der Eiseskälte in den Highlands zu sein –und vielleicht sogar zu der in ihrem Herzen … Der Roman ist in sich abgeschlossen.
