Tuition Assistance Transitions to GoArmyEd • What do you need to know: • You must register for tuition assistance at GoArmyEd for all courses that begin on or after 1 October 2011 • You must apply for Tuition Assistance (TA) prior to the start date of your course. THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD. If you don’t apply prior to the course start date, TA cannot be approved. • Your TA request must be approved prior to the start date of your course. If it isn’t ,TA cannot be paid. (NOTE: Do not wait until the day before your course begins to apply-allow time for your TA to be processed) • You must input your TA request – the State Education Office cannot do it for you. • For questions, contact WO1 Benson at 324-3236 • To Apply for Tuition Assistance: • Login towww.goarmyed.com • Click on ‘Request TA’ • Follow the step-by-step instructions • Contact your unit Readiness NCO for additional information • that has been sent out about theGoArmyEd program. • To register for a GoArmyEd user account: • Login to www.goarmyed.com • Click on New User • Fill in requested data (2 screens) • You will be given a username–SAVE IT! • Create password and security questions
