  1. Dr. James Farley Champions a Functional Neuro-Metabolic Approach to Chronic Health Conditions Dr. James Farley emphasizes a functional, root-cause approach to healthcare, focusing on neuro-metabolic impairments rather than targeting specific diseases. He offers an alternative perspective on chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, stating that rather than simply trying to reduce chronic inflammation, the real goal should be identifying and correcting the underlying dysfunctions that sustain it. Fatigue is often one of the earliest warning signs of rheumatoid arthritis, followed by symptoms such as joint pain, swelling, redness, tingling, numbness, stiffness, and weight loss—typically affecting joints symmetrically. At the core of Dr. Farley’s methodology is his Neurobiomedicine Health System, which aligns with the National Institutes of Health’s definition of Translational Medicine. His system is designed to be accessible and practical, creating new avenues for higher levels of “healability,” a deeper understanding of chronic conditions, and better patient outcomes through personalized care and compassionate communication. Practicing in Bridgewater, New Jersey, Dr. Farley specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating conditions related to the neuromusculoskeletal system. He works to enhance each patient’s overall function and quality of life, with a focus on issues like sciatica, neck pain, arthritis, and other complex pain disorders. Dr. Farley’s educational background reflects a strong commitment to integrative health. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 1990, followed by a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Park University in 1991 (awarded in 2016). He graduated with honors as a Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1995 and went on to complete a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in 1996. Through his functional, neuro-metabolic approach, Dr. Farley continues to provide innovative, patient-centered care that restores optimal performance and enhances well- being.
