  3. MTSU ARGENTINA 2013-14 • December 26th - January 14th • Leave from Nashville, through Miami and Santiago, then to Mendoza, Argentina (1 day) • Hotel stays, visits, tours, pleasurable side trips included • Offered as • BCEN 4840 and 5840 • AGR 4190

  4. About the course • Economics, entrepreneurship, agriculture, international relations • Focus on supply chain and business owners within Mendoza’s major industries: wine, olive oil, fresh and canned fruits, retail, restaurant • Coursework includes discussions, papers, presentations in-country

  5. Getting around to the cultural, “fun” side • Group picnics • Winery tours • Whitewater rafting, zip lining • Andes Mountains spa day • Multiple gelato excursions • NYE Celebration

  6. Cost of the Trip • $2150: in-country fees • Can be split into 3 payments for September, October, and November • $500 of this must be made as a deposit by September 30th • Plane ticket • As of now, $1750 • Tuition to register for the course in Spring semester

  7. How Do I Do This? • Finance options: • Federal student loans (covers reimbursement for the cost of the trip and tuition) • Three-payment option • Loan through Ascend Federal Credit Union • (Donna, branch manager)
