  2. An Integrated Resource Team (IRT) and an Interagency Committee are practically the same thing. I have no idea why the DEI national technical assistance provider is always yammering on about the differences between the two. They both work to increase access to employment opportunities and employment outcomes for people with disabilities. We might as well just call Interagency Committees IRTs. True, they are the same thing. False, they are NOT the same.

  3. Not Quite… While it is true that Integrated Resource Teams (IRTs) and Interagency Committees both work to increase access to employment opportunities and employment outcomes for people with disabilities, they are definitely not the same. Please try again to learn more about the important differences between how an IRT and how an Interagency Committee operate. Go Back

  4. CORRECT!!! An Integrated Resource Team (IRT) takes a tailored approach, bringing together a wide range of representatives as appropriate at the local One-Stop community level, to improve coordination of services and supports to an individual customer with a disability. Whereas… An Interagency Committee works to identify solutions at a systems level in order to impact policy changes, improve interagency referral processes, and/or work together towards an annual event, such as a Job Fair or Employer Forum. • For more information check out DEI Myth #5.
