Dialogue 1 • Narrator 1: • There are times the zoo is boring • When the wild things are snoring • No creatures creep • No peepers peep • No howling and no roaring • Narrator 2: • Then I wonder what goes on when nighttime comes and we are gone • Do creatures creep? • Do peepers peep? • And dance until the dawn?

  3. Narrator 3: • Oh, how I’d love to see it all • And join the nighttime free for all • I’d creep and dance • I’d peep and prance • And have a Wild Things ball!

  4. In the forests of the Amazon, there’s a groovy dance phenomenon. Beetle’s rockin on the forest floor. Mighty jaguars gives a raucous roar. • Step to the left, Jump to the right. Flap your arms like a parrot in flight. Climb like a monkey up the kapok. Now you’re doing the Amazon Rock!

  5. Way up high in the forest canopy, three-toed sloth is hangin’ from a tree. Howler monkey makes the trees resound. Butterflies are dancin’ all around. • Step to the left, Jump to the right. Flap your arms like a parrot in flight. Climb like a monkey up the kapok. Now you’re doing the Amazon Rock!

  6. Harpy eagle’s flappin’ to and fro. Boa’s bopin’ on the limb below. Tapir takes a turn with ocelot. There’s no end to all the moves they’ve got! • Step to the left, Jump to the right. Flap your arms like a parrot in flight. Climb like a monkey up the kapok. Now you’re doing the Amazon Rock!
