Mission / Vision Responds to identified needs of the district and community, based upon data, and Provides Framework and Vehicle for School Improvement and Financial Planning, Projection, and Stabilization • Strategic Plan Details the individual school’s plan to support the initiatives of the District Strategic Plan. SIPs/ Action Plans are built collaborative, are based in data driven decision making, and are specific to the individual site. • School Improvement Plan/Action Plans Forum for Implementation and Revision of SIP/Action Plan Data Analysis, Discussion, and Intervention Planning Improvement of Teaching for Learning Home of MTSS, Progression Monitoring, and Data Driven Decision Making • PLCs /Data Teams Teacher Evaluation • Observations & • Walk -Through FCAT EOCs Grading Practice & Correlations • Monitoring/Assessment/Adjustments/Evaluation FAIR, Common Formative Assessment Quarterly Reports Accountability School, District and State MTSS Single School Culture

  3. Strategic Decision Making Ex: Master Schedule • Teacher Assignments based on data in addition to preferences • Student placements based on data in addition to teacher recommendations • Student schedules reflect an emphasis on rigor and scholarship

  4. Systemic Focus and Presentation School Wide Initiatives • Single School Culture: Common Expectations for Behavior AND Achievement • Common shared vision – who we are and who we intend to be! • Everyone communicates the vision! Graduation is a “non-negotiable”. All students can and will learn!

Expectations • Streamlined approach to all building initiatives. • All expenditures of resources support the goals of the SIP/Action Plan. • Trends should progress from: • SIP/Action Plan • PLC/Data Team Goals • Professional Development Plans (teacher and admin) • Achievement and Performance is monitored! • When necessary, intervention is made to improve progress towards the goals of any level.
