  3. Rhetoric Devices • Rhetorical Questions- engages listener mentally • Diction-word choice • Allusion-reference to a time, place , person or event in literature or history • Ex. Odyssey- epic poem -hero

  4. Evidence/Support • Quiz your neighbor on the types of evidence that can be used in the art of PERSUASION!!!!!

  5. Summarize • In a paragraph explain the art of persuasion. Give any examples that you can think of about persuasion include types of evidence and rhetoric devices. Think about leaders in the world. What devices do they or have they used to persuade their audience?
