Salary Negotiations2013 DO’S AND DON’TS • If possible, best to negotiate with HR • Do your homework in advance, know your value and your minimum reqs • Do be willing to balance different compensation items • Do put yourself in the shoes of the hiring manager, anticipate their limits • Don’t be afraid to walk away, but always be professional • For employment agreements, do consider hiring an attorney
