Renovating the Home of the Founders Parkway The Founders Parkway is a favorite area in Las Vegas. It is located between Southwestern Las Vegas Boulevard and Paris Las Vegas Boulevard. It is just a short drive away from the famed Las Vegas Strip. The breathtaking scenery that is found on the Strip isn't the only thing you can find. There are many beautiful landscaping options available along the Parkway such as a path composed of wooden planks, and paved paths that lead to Castle Rock. The Founders Parkway's design for paving is unique in that it looks like other similar public works that are located in Las Vegas. The stone bench is situated at the entrance to this parkway, surrounded by two columns of stone. The bench is not round as the others in Las Vegas parksways. It is more rectangular. Concrete was used along the perimeter of the bench to create a variety interesting designs. Concrete patios can be found in six different patterns. Concrete tabs are two of the concrete pavers included in the design. The concrete tabs feature similar designs to the Las Vegas concrete patio. The concrete used in the design of the Castle Rock section of the pavement is colored to make it blend in with surrounding scenery. The concrete's coloring is subtle enough not to overpower the natural beauty of the surroundings. The three remaining concrete segments in the design are constructed from large rock forms. To help them stand out from concrete all of the huge rock forms has been colored. This section of concrete is red in order to differentiate it from other concrete segments around the parkway. There are eleven colors that are used in the concrete designs of this project. Designers have created a Parkway that is completely distinct from the other areas of the development by using so many hues.
The replacement of concrete ramps and sidewalks at the ground with granite pavers was another major improvement in the construction of CastleRock's section of the Las Vegas Strip. These pavers are made of granite and have distinctive color patterns which blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Granite pavers are more appealing than other pavers. They are also easier to walk on and give the driveway a smoother feel in the rain. The Las Vegas Strip has a covered walkway which is another style change. The walkway is covered by exposed roots and prevents pedestrians from walking over them. This design helps to prevent erosion, and also allows rainwater to flow into the ocean. Concrete sealants are not needed since the walkway's concrete is already present in the ground. Instead the pavers are coated with a specific waterproof material that is slip-resistant and heat- resistant. Castle Rock has a wonderful climate. The climate is semitropical with mild winters and hot summers. The soil is sandy and is perfect for planting flowers. The plants vary from desert flowers to desert grasses to shrubs and evergreens. Furthermore, the Strip's southern exposure ensures that the area is cooler than other parts of the city. The stone picnic area located at the east end of the driveway gives residents with a view of Strip and a place for peace and relaxation. You can unwind from the hum and bustle of the casino floor, by sitting on the bench made of stone. The stone bench's design makes it both functional and beautiful. The stones bring the outside alive when you sit on the deck, and then eat lunch.
