Do you need a visa? • If you are a citizen from the European Union or from Iceland,Liechtenstein, Norway,Switzerland, Monaco or Andorra: • You don’t need to apply for a VISA. • If you come to study in France for less than 90 days and you are a citizen from : Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Barbados,, Brésil, Brunei, Canada, Chili, South Corea, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Israël, Japan, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mauritius Mexico, Montenegro, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, San Marino, Vatican, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Uruguay and Venezuela :You don’t need to apply for a VISA. - If you come to study in France for more than 90 days,you need to apply for a « Visa Long Séjour valant Titre de Séjour » (Long Stay Visa / Resident permit) within a period of 90 days after your first arrival date.   5. 1st step: understanding your visa VISA number Validity start date. Date of expiration Visa D MULT: unlimited entries in the Schengen area. Student Status CESEDA R311-3 6° 60 % Work authorization, ie 964 hours/year. International Office HEC

  6. 2nd step: The OFII (French Office for Immigration and integration)form. To be completed in your home country. French Consulate stamp Your status in France. International Office HEC

  7. 3rd step: the airport stamp On your arrival in France or in the Schengen area, make sure that your passport is stamped International Office HEC

  8. 4th step: How to complete the 2nd part of the OFII form in France? To be completed as soon as you arrive on the campus. Do not write in this section International Office HEC

  10. 5th step: submitting the documents During your « Welcome Day » if you live on the campus or in the Yvelines (78) and Hauts-de-Seine (92) districts: Fill out your OFII form and sign it. Make 2 copies of your completed and signed Demande d’attestation OFII, of your D VISA, of your airport stamp and the ID page of your passport. Return these documents to Ms Agnès Tourneix, office T 57. cartedesejour@hec.fr ou tourneix@hec.fr - If you live in Paris, sendyour documents to: OFII 48 rue de la Roquette 75011 Paris - If you live in the Essonne (91) or Val de Marne (94) districts , sendyour documents to: OFII 13, 15 rue Claude Nicolas Ledoux 9400 Créteil International Office HEC

  11. 6th step: The validation of your VLS/TS and the medical examination. • Your resident permit contact in HEC, Ms Agnès Tourneix, will send your application and your documents to the OFII (Office Français de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration) of Montrouge. • Ms Agnès Tourneix will email you your confirmation of receipt and and your ‘notice to appear’ for the OFII (5 pages) and your itinary for the OFII. You may have had your medical examination in an OFII center in your home country. In this case, bring your medical certificate with you when you visit the OFII in France. International Office HEC

  13. 7th step: In the Office français de l’Immigration et de Intégration (OFII) of Montrouge. Please respect your date and time of appointment. Don’t be late. You will be given a chest x-ray. And general medical examination. International Office HEC

  14. What should you bring with you at your appointment? 1. Your 5 page ‘notice to appear’ letter. 2. Your passport. One recent ID photographs(with nothing obscuring the face.The frame size must be35 mmwide and45 mmhigh. The entire face must be uncovered with both eyes visible. Glasses are not permitted.The photograph must be in colour.) 3. 4. Proof of residence. 5. Your OFII medical certificate, if applicable (see page 12). 6.   16. Last step! Once all the formalities are completed, the OFII will place the sticker below on your passport: • The secured OFII sticker. International Office HEC

  17. Congratulations!!!! You are now legally living in France. International Office HEC

  18. Back at HEC, don’t forget to return a copy of your OFII sticker to the Social Security office, office 19. International Office HEC
