  1. JigsawA Cooperative Learning Activity • 1. Divide students into groups. These groups are called home teams or home groups. • 2. Divide topics (could also be text or material) into equal parts, assigning one part per student. • 3. Students read, glean key ideas, and become familiar with their topic. • 4. Students meet with their expert group who are other students from other groups who were assigned the same topic. • 5. Students return to home team to teach others in their group about their topic. • 6. All students are then assessed on all the topics.
