  8. THE INTERPERSONAL MODE: • 2-way interactive; clarification of meaning is possible • Speaking, listening, reading and writing. • Face-to-face or telephone conversations, written messages. Dr.Tahany@2009

  9. THE INTERPRETIVE MODE: • Receptive communication; clarification of meaning is not possible, creator of message is absent. • Listening or reading only. • Listening to a news broadcast, reading a novel, watching a movie. Dr.Tahany@2009
