Appendix A : ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการศึกษาของประเทศไทย (ปลัดกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ, 14 ส.ค.55) ประชากรไทย อายุ 3-21 ปี เข้ารับการศึกษาในระบบ ไม่อยู่ในระบบ 13,389,249 คน (80.41%) 16,651,972 คน 3,262,723 คน (19.59%) อนุบาล อายุ 3-5 ปี 76.80% • ต้องจัดการศึกษานอกระบบและการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยให้มากขึ้น • มีกลุ่มอายุเกินที่เรียนแล้วลืม ต้องให้การศึกษาเพิ่มเติม ประถมศึกษา (ป.1-ป.6) อายุ 6-11 ปี 103.50% มัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น (ม.1-ม.3) อายุ 12-14 ปี 98.40% 72.18% มัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย (ม.4-ม.6) อายุ 15-17 ปี 47.18% อุดมศึกษา (ปี1 -ปี4) อายุ 18-21 ปี ประชากรไทย 65 ล้านคน มีอัตราการอ่านออกเขียนได้ 93.5 % อัตราการอ่านไม่ออกเขียนไม่ได้ 6.5 %(4,225,000 คน)

Appendix D: Post Globalization แนวคิดการปฏิรูปประเทศด้วยการศึกษา คิดให้ไกลกว่าโลกาภิวัตน์ การเรียนรู้ multi-function เพื่อวางรากฐานชีวิต,สร้างความเป็นพลเมืองและมนุษย์ที่สมบูรณ์,มีงานทำ และเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต ปัจจุบัน การศึกษาในระบบจัดสำหรับกลุ่มวัยเรียน – learning age group(6-18 ปีสำหรับการศึกษาพื้นฐาน และ 18-22 ปีสำหรับอาชีวศึกษาและอุดมศึกษา) จัดเพื่อคนวัยเรียนประมาณ 12 ล้านคน ในอนาคต การเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตสำหรับกลุ่มนอกวัยเรียน (non-learning age group) หรือวัยแรงงาน–workforce(15-59 ปี) สำหรับวัยแรงงานกว่า 35 ล้านคน เป็นปัจจัยกำหนด social and economic competitiveness ของสังคมไทย อาชีวศึกษาและอุดมศึกษาต้องใส่ใจคนกำลังทำงาน การศึกษาทุกระดับ ต้องเปลี่ยน profile ผู้เรียน (กฤษณพงศ์ กีรติกร, 1 พ.ย. 2555)
