  2. Transition Planning Providing information to the in-coming leader at • Club • Area • Division

  3. Transition – Club level • Guide the clubs to elect club officers • Submit club officer list thru Club Central (under the “future” tab) • Install new club officers • Hold an executive meeting to facilitate the transition to in-coming officers • New clubs need guidance • COT in June

  4. Club Officer Training • Current leaders responsible for June training • June training – ideal – to train all officers in June! • Follow “Training Club Leaders” • Free digital download

Transition – Club level • Area Gov - Check the reports page to confirm the club has submitted officer list • http://dashboards.toastmasters.org/UpdateReports.aspx • Click on Daily Report (left side of screen), then select July Club Officer List status • Sort by clicking on ‘area’ or ‘division’ • 20% submitted to-date • Submit prior to June 30 to qualify for DCP point

  6. Transition – Area Level • Schedule meeting with in-coming AG • Prior to June 7 if possible • Clubs moved in alignment? Contact the in-coming AG for each club • In-coming AG – be proactive • Caution – don’t step on toes, 5 weeks left this year • Need to know who the AG for a club was? Contact the Division Governor or send me an email. • Introduce in-coming AG to the club (installation of officers or year-end celebration)

Area Transition Topics • Area Contests • Host clubs • Locations that work • Traveling contest trophies - engraving • Of-the-Year winners presented at Fall contest • Area Visit Reports • Provide a copy to in-coming AG • Unique club struggles • Best time to visit club • Helpful information about the club (location, parking, customs, corporate support

Transition for Division • Schedule meeting with in-coming Division Governor • Prior to June 7 if possible • Division Contests • Previous host club • Location of traveling trophies & engraving • Division Of-the-Year awards, present at Fall Contest • In-coming Division Governor – be proactive • Caution – don’t step on toes, 5 weeks left this year • Division Events • TLI, COT, Bootcamp, Division B days
