Cut the remaining half barrel into thirds 2 of these “thirds” will be lids for the charcoal chamber. Take the final “third” and flatten it. Then draw lines on it like so. This will serve as the platform that you will rest the wood on.

  1. Cut the remaining half barrel into thirds • 2 of these “thirds” will be lids for the charcoal chamber

  2. Take the final “third” and flatten it. Then draw lines on it like so. • This will serve as the platform that you will rest the wood on

  3. You’ll put these inside the charcoal chamber, and put the wood on them

  4. With the leftover scrap metal, make a roof for the fire chamber hole

  5. Should be bent into a shape that looks something like this

  6. Weld a metal pipe to the charcoal chamber, to serve as a chimney

  7. Step 2: Make Housing Unit • Find a open air building that has a vacant overhanging roof.

  8. When the cement is dry, fill the kiln with a 50/50 mix of dirt (dinh) and rice husk (glep) to serve as insulation
