  2. Let’s Agree on our Mission… • FIRST…we will look at the new and exciting OSEP lingo and make sure you are up to speed on them. • SECOND…we will brainstorm and discuss Top Issues you hear from parents and youth • THEN we will: • Look at resources that might help • Talk about existing resources you have • See resources I may have • We are going to put this all together to figure out how all of this can best benefit the families and youth you serve!

  3. So… What do you need from me to walk away and feel this was the VERY BEST session ever offered at any Region 6 Conference????

  4. OMG! Did you have any IDEA? So to improve RDA, we started out looking at PBIS and RTI. And that helped, but it brought up other issues. So PBIS and RTI have been broadened to MTSS so that we can ensure students with IEPs receive FAPE and learn in their LRE. Well now SEAs are moving from SPP/APRs to SSIPs. SSIPs require integration of SIGs/SPDGs and ESEA flexibility so that LEA/EIS programs improve. But don’t worry! Even though Part B and Part C SIMRs are already established, your PTI and CPRC should be actively involved and can be! Rest assured,OSEP will provide TA via your RPTAC, the new CPIR, and the former RRCs (that have combined into the new NCSI).
