4. GENERAL COMPANY DESCRIPTION • S & J has been in business since April 2005. We will mow lawns, fertilize plants, trim trees and shrubs, manage your watering schedule and repair irrigation systems. Also, remove snow in the winter months. We will customize any of our services to meet our customer needs. • S & J’s mission is viewed as the most respected source of landscaping and snow removal service. S & J focuses on high standards of work and customer care. Also, a member of the better business bureau. • Our number one goal is customer satisfaction. We will provide our services in a timely and efficient manner. Any questions or concerns are handled by one of our highly qualified lawn technicians. All of our employees receive training from the president of the company. All employees are insured and legal US citizens. In five years our business will be the most recognized landscaping company in Pennsylvania. • We will be marketing our company to corporate facilities, apartment complexes, small businesses and residential homes.

The vast majority of companies are small with annual revenue less than 2million. The top companies only hold fifteen percent of the market. Our competitive demand is driving partly by construction of new commercial properties and how the economy is doing. The profitability of the individual companies depends on the demand and efficiency of the company. S&J foresees changes in the amount of large companies cancelling due to the economy. In the event of that happening we will change our prices to accommodate the changes in the economy.

We will beat any competitor’s price, for any job. All of our work will be done on time. Our employees are educated in the field, and will always have a supervisor on the job site. All of our products and equipment are ECO friendly. Our Landscape architect has a Bachelors Degree. He also has three years of internship in a landscape architectural office. Our landscaper works with site analysis, cost estimates, practical considerations such as drainage, light availability, elevations and all other facets of designing. He will also work with walkways and patios. Our garden designer has a formal education. She will work with site analysis, light availability and cost estimates. Her talent is in using her knowledge to create attractive planting beds with shrubs, ornamental trees, vines and ground covers. Our landscaper contractor installs landscapes and will also contract for garden maintenance. • S&J is a limited liability corporation.
