What does this show about how slaves were treated and look upon in the 1800s in the United States? ( List 3 facts about slavery based on this statement.) • 2) Why did most of the supreme court justices support slavery? ( List 2 reasons. You have to think of these reasons on your own, they are not in the textbook.) • 3)Pretend you are a member of the Missouri state court who voted that even though Dred Scott lived in a free a free state for two years he is not free from slavery. List two reasons why Dred Scott should not be free.
