Lessons Essential: • MAP co-ordinator • committed lead at senior level with links across organisations • a strategy with clear indicators of performance • clear structure & mechanisms, up, down & across • agreed roles & responsibilities for groups & members Takes time & energy – have long term tactical plan Be clear what is absolutely non-negotiable & be flexible on other things Size probably matters a lot in terms of ease & speed Build wider network of supporters
