  1. Project Graduation Implementing the 4-Year Cohort Graduation Rate

  2. Current Multiple Measures Projected Four-Year Dropout Rate – A measure of the cumulative proportion of the 9th grade class that would drop out prior to graduation if that year’s grade-specific dropout rate was to remain constant over the four years until that class is to graduate. Averaged Freshman Graduation Rate – Number of high school graduates receiving a high school diploma in a given year divided by the average number of students enrolled in 8th grade five years earlier, 9th grade four years earlier, and 10th grade three years earlier. AYP Graduation Rate – Number of graduates divided by number of graduates, plus the number who exit with documents other than a diploma and number of dropouts from graduating class in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. 4-Year Cohort Graduation Rate – Number of on-time graduates in a given year divided by the number of first-time entering 9th graders four years earlier adjusting for transfers in and out.
